Information we collect

When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, business name, email address, optional phone number, and the description of what you're trying to solve. We also receive standard technical information that any website receives, such as your browser type, device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

If you book an AI Jumpstart, we also collect your payment, processed by Stripe (we never see your full card number); your booking details, through Cal.com; your answers to the intake questions, including any work sample you choose to share; and a recording of the session, made in Google Meet and stored in our Google Drive. To prepare for a session or write up your plan, we may use Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic, with your intake materials or session content.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, schedule and conduct consultations and sessions, send you a link to your session recording, and follow up about our services. We use technical information to keep the site secure and understand which pages are useful.

How we share it

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate — our website host, our email delivery provider, Stripe for payments, Cal.com for scheduling, Google for session recordings and site analytics, and Anthropic (Claude) for session preparation — and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Retention

We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond and maintain our business records. Session recordings and intake materials are kept in our Google Drive and booking system until you ask us to delete them, and we delete them on request. We keep payment and booking records as long as needed for tax and accounting.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you've given us, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing info@cognaai.com. We'll respond promptly.

Cookies

Our site uses the cookies and local storage it needs to function, plus Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and show which pages are useful. Our payment and booking providers set their own cookies when you use them. We do not run advertising trackers.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll revise the date above. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
